For the fifth year in a row, Miami Zine Fair is coming back to South Florida, and this year it’s running for two days, and set in the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. From Saturday, April 6th to Sunday April 7th, the fair will be, as always, free and open to the public.

Hosted by EXILE Books, an ‘experimental’ bookshop and workspace in Little Haiti, the fair will feature local independent publications and artists, alike. The Miami Zine Fair prides itself in representing the wide variety of makers and shakers who embrace the art of self-publishing in our city, engaging individuals of all ages and backgrounds by placing a real-life, self-made book in each of their hands––the sort of book they could make themselves. Bringing together the Zine community of South Florida, the fair is set to hold performances, workshops and events throughout the two days – so bring your walking shoes, baby.

EXILE Books, along with being a bookstore, is an organization for the local artist community who seek to connect other artists, and those interested in becoming more involved. They host activities from local workshops and lectures, to fairs, exhibits, and performances. Showcasing independent publishers and artists from all over the country and the world, EXILE books is a place for any lover of the written word.
